GM44
Description
The CYGNUS GM44 is a multi-purpose fishing vessel available in two principle arrangements, forward wheelhouse and aft wheelhouse. In both versions, the detailed design is in accordance with the owner's precise requirements to suit his method of fishing. The vessel features a modern, round bilge, heavy displacement design, providing good cargo capacity and stability characteristics together with a large working deck area. The main propulsion engine, auxiliary equipment, fishing hydraulics and electrics are fitted to meet the owner's requirements. The GM44 is designed and built to carry out the full range of fishing functions including purse seining, single and pair trawling, tangle net fishing, long lining, trap fishing etc. The GM range is well established in the fishing industry with over 600 vessels in operation around the world. The GM44 has been extended up to 14.4m and is the largest displacement fishing boat hull CYGNUS currently produce.
